My journey into esthetics began after battling my own skin issues for years. Starting in middle school, I faced persistent hormonal acne and tried everything under the sun, from dermatologist prescriptions to going on Accutane in high school to try and heal my skin. Despite these efforts, my acne always returned, and I found myself continuing my struggle with acne well into my early 20s.
By 2020, I realized that if I truly wanted to heal my chronic skin issues, I would need to take matters into my own hands. So, I followed my passion and enrolled in esthetician school. That decision changed everything for me. I fell in love with not just skincare but the wellness industry as a whole. I discovered that achieving lasting skin results isnโt solely based on using the right products; itโs about understanding the deeper connection between our inner health and what shows up on our skin. I became fascinated with how conditions like acne, dryness, hyperpigmentation, and eczema often reflect the internal inflammation and imbalances within our bodies.
Since becoming an esthetician, I have deeply explored my own wellness journey, learning to balance my hormones naturally. Through this process, I discovered the profound impact that everyday products have on our health. I came to realize that many common household and personal care items are filled with hidden chemicals that can disrupt our bodies in surprising ways. This realization fueled my commitment to non-toxic living and holistic wellness, a philosophy Iโm proud to bring into Emerald Esthetics. You no longer have to choose between effective skincare and safe skincare; now, you can have both. Every product I use is carefully selected to be non-toxic, plant-based, and nourishingโwhile still delivering visible, effective results. This journey is personal for me, and Iโm honored to share it with you as we work together to bring out the best in your skin.
Outside of work, I am a wife to my wonderful husband Tyler, a dog mom to three very spoiled Labrador retrievers, a ministry leader, and a follower of Jesus. My greatest hope is that through my business Iโm able to reflect the love of Christ and help more individuals realize that their worth doesnโt come form a flawless complexion but from a God who knows them by name and loves them deeply. In my free time you can find me sipping coffee at a local coffee shop, enjoying the great outdoors, spending time with friends and family or attending my church at Destiny Worship Center.
