Trying all of the skincare regimens, watching all of the YouTube and TikTok gurus, wasting thousands of dollars on products that weren’t right for my skin.
I didn’t always envision myself as a licensed esthetician. However, because of my own skin journey, I developed a passion for the skincare industry. I have always struggled with horrible hormonal acne. It was my biggest insecurity growing up and nothing that I did seemed to help. By age 16, after trying several different prescribed topical and oral medications my dermatologist recommended Accutane. After completing Accutane, my acne initially improved. However, about a year later my acne came right back and was even worse! I was left frustrated and hopeless. What was causing my acne? What was the root problem? Was there anything out there that would actually work?
I set out to answer my own questions since no one else could. I enrolled in esthetics school in 2019, and that started me down the path that has led me to where I am today. It is now my goal to help others heal their skin from the inside out too. Through my professional education and personal experiences, I learned that dealing with any skincare concern requires looking at the problem from all angles. Believe it or not, switching your products or getting routine facials may not be enough. Sometimes you must dive deeper. As your esthetician, I will strive to help you find the underlying cause of your skin concern and together we will craft an appropriate solution!

I am the owner of Emerald Esthetics located in beautiful Destin, Fl. I am a licensed solo esthetician and skincare professional. I specialize in facials, acne bootcamp, skincare consults, and Hydrafacial®. Professionalism is what I strive for and exceptional customer service is my utmost priority. There is no doubt my services are luxurious and relaxing but most importantly, they are result-driven!
